The early days.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Awacon was founded by a licensed builder who brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of traditional building principles.

Starting his career at 17, Danny pursued a degree in Construction Management (Applied Science) at Queensland University of Technology while gaining real-world experience as a cadet contracts administrator and later as a site supervisor. From an early age, he was exposed to the trade through his father, a traditional builder, where he learned the fundamentals of carpentry, roofing, and framing.

New construction projects.
After earning his builder’s licence at 28, he delivered his first residential projects in Queensland including homes built on complex sloping sites requiring advanced structural solutions. Since founding Awacon as a sole trader and transitioning to a company in 2022, he has successfully led and delivered a wide range of projects, including multi-unit developments, commercial spaces, and large-scale renovations.

His standout project, a mixed-use redevelopment of a former service station, showcases his capabilities in navigating regulatory approvals, managing complex builds, and delivering exceptional outcomes from concept to completion.

Awacon is licensed to build up to three storeys across three states of Australia and continues to deliver quality, accountability, and precision in every project.
